Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band is the primary band at Ponderosa and is open to all students who play wind, brass, and percussion instruments. The course emphasizes the development of overall musicianship and instrumental technique and grants students the opportunity to perform challenging and engaging wind band music in several performances throughout the year. Prior music reading experience is required. The Symphonic Band will also have opportunities to travel and perform at various music festivals around the state. Additionally, the Symphonic Band will partake in future Instrumental Music Trips to Disney World among other notable destinations in the country.

There will be a $60.00 instrument rental fee (if needed) as well as a $50.00 instrument maintenance fee for percussionists.

Concert attire is available for rent for families in need.
